When a player decides to knock, it indicates that they think they have the lowest score of the round and are prepared to end the game. However, if other pspin and winlayers have lower scores at that moment, knocking early can result in a higher score. However, if a player plays on without knocking, they may be able to improve their hand and possibly reduce their score even further. In Rummy Golf, timing is everything.
