A set is made up of three or four cards of the same rank but different suits, & a sequence is made rummy all apkup of three or more consecutive cards of the same suit. Both types of combinations are acceptable. For instance, three kings of various suits could be a set, but 4-5-6 of hearts could be a sequence.
