Each player receives ten cards at the start of each round, with the remaining cards being arranged in the draw pile, faceone 21 slots down, in the middle of the table. The discard pile is then started by placing the top card of the draw pile face up next to it. Each player gets to choose which card to draw from the draw or discard pile before tossing one from their hand.
