To be valid, the declaration needs to contain at least one pure sequence—that is, a sequence devoid of jokers. Following a declaration by one player, the other plrummy baazayers show their hands, and the number of cards left in each hand determines the score. The player who finishes the round with the lowest score wins. Because players have to strike a balance between creating their own combinations and thwarting their opponents' plans, this scoring system introduces a strategic component.
