The game's goal is still the same as in traditional rummy: players must use the cards that are dealt to them to create legitimate sets & sequences. A draw pile is formed from the holy rummyremaining cards after each player is dealt a predetermined number of cards, usually 13. Players take turns selecting cards from the discard or draw piles in an effort to build better hands by creating combinations that are allowed. Until one player successfully melds their cards into sets and sequences that are valid, they declare "Rummy" to win the round.
