Depending on the variation being played, each player starts the game with a certain number of cards. The top card is turned face up to begin the lobstermania slotsdiscard pile, and the remaining cards are arranged face down to form the draw pile. Each player takes a turn drawing a card from either pile and then discarding one from their hand. The player who forms all of their cards into sets and runs at the end of the game declares "Rummy" & wins.
